an evening with Allison:
"Introduction to Acupuncture"
Join Allison Bower, L.AC., M.AC, for
"Staying healthy with the 5 Seasons:
An introduction and informative discussion of Acupuncture"
The evening will include an introduction to acupuncture, brief demonstration, and Q and A .
The Ancient Chinese were aware of nature, changes, of night and day and cycles of seasons. They saw that creation moved between 2 extremes night and day, or yin and yang. They saw the importance of balance in nature and also in humans. They saw yin and yang in humans in the emotions and actions. The seasons express stages of movement from yin to yang and yang to yin. This movement through time was seen as transitional phases and thus the five phases/elements were used to describe the movement of energy.
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about acupuncture and have your questions answered by a Licensed practioner with over 2 decades of experience.

Date: TUESDAY, JUNE 15
Time: 5:15pm-6:15pm
Cost: FREE

Getting to Know Us
As the weather starts to heat up, you can't help but think about vacations and travel!
Here are a few places our staff at CVWC love to go!!
Lydia:Mexico- People are hospitable and will do anything to make you happy. They bend over backwards to help you. Just gimme that guacamole!! Feels so good looking out at the ocean, eating chips and guacamole with a margarita! My answer may change though, after my 4-week trip to Lebanon!
Jennifer:Jamaica-I have been there twice and would go back over and over! There's not as much headache as there is here. They are very simple. The jerk chicken is to die for! I remember the view from the plane and how the colors of the water change; it doesn't get any better than that!

Ashleigh:Gatlinburg, Tennessee-My husband and I drove to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in mid-October 2007 and we loved every minute of it!
The trees were brilliant and the air just seemed more clear. This was the perfect honeymoon spot to relax and enjoy nature and wildlife, while also experiencing the sights of the city. Our little cabin was so comfy and it was beautiful to see all the cabins dotting the mountain sides at night! I'd go back in a second!
