Fresh Tomato Bruschetta
from the kitchen of Lydia Williams
* ½ loaf French baguette, sliced into 12 even pieces
* 2 Tablespoons olive oil
* 5 medium tomatoes, small diced
* 1 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
* 3 large cloves garlic
* ½ teaspoon salt
* ¼ teaspoon pepper
* 2 Tablespoons parmesan cheese for garnish
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Slice 1 clove garlic in half. Rub bread with cut side of garlic. Brush bread slices lightly with olive oil. Set aside remaining oil. Toast bread on ungreased cookie sheet until golden and crispy. Let cool. In a medium sized bowl, combine tomatoes, basil, salt, pepper, and remaining oil and minced garlic. Allow mixture to sit for 15 min to tomatoes can release juices. Drain slightly without losing spices. Mix again and then top toasted bread slices with tomato mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Makes 6 servings.

Reiki Healing Circle
Monday, July 20, 2009 ~ 7:00pm ~ $3 /person
"Receiving Reiki was very calming, mellowing, harmonizing. The practitioners' attention, so generous."
What I liked most about the experience was the "willingness of others to use their spirit to heal others."
Join Terry Carine, Karuna Reiki® Master, other Reiki practitioners and those who are interested in the Healing Circle of Reiki. We meet again Monday, July 20th at 7:00pm in the Lower Level Conference room. Bring your questions and intentions.
