Allison Bower, L.AC., M.AC
Licensed Acupuncturist
Allison Bower lives in Hudson with her husband, 4 children and 2 dogs. She is a native of New York, but has lived in Arizona, Connecticut, Maryland and North Carolina.
Allison has a BA in Philosophy/Biology from the University of Arizona, and MA's in Exercise Physiology from the University of Connecticut and Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Maryland. She has been practicing Traditional Chinese Acupuncture for 20 years.
She is certified in:
* Chinese Herbology having studied with Ted Kaptchuk
* Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture (FRA) with Virginia Doran
* Motor Point Sport acupuncture with Matt Callison.
Allison also uses Su Jok hand acupuncture and Dr. Tan's balance method. She is currently studying with Lonny Jarrett in Lenox Massachusetts.
Allison has a special interest in treating athletes of all levels in the care and prevention of athletic injuries as well as optimizing performance. She also enjoys using FRA as well as Traditional Acupuncture to help women in the aging process. Her interests include outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, biking and soccer as well as tennis.
